A Sikh soldier fights through The Great War for the British Empire,
only to survive and have to face a further hell back in India.
The project is being made by passionate filmmakers and renowned historians based in the UK and India
We need to raise £10,000 in 2021 to make this film.
Your generous donation will help fund our production budget and brings us closer to completing this project - so worldwide audiences can learn and enjoy this story!
Equipment, cast, studio, set building, costumes, props, and set dressing for 5-day shoot.
It will allow us to hold screenings of the film and send the final product out to film festivals around the world to reach a global audience.
There’s still a lot of ignorance in the UK and the West on the topic. The film will show the sacrifice and endurance the Sikh soldiers gave to the war effort for the British, and start a proper conversation on the spared history of India and Britain.
Filmmakers Sky Cheema and Joseph Archer are producing a film that finally reflects the true diverse story of The Great War.
"Let's help show WW1 history for what it really was"
